Every week the traditional markets are celebrated in different villages of Mallorca. The main streets of the historic center receive a lot of stands with fruits, vegetable, shoes, clothind etc in some of them animals. These markets are an important part of the traditions of the different villages, it was once like the meeting day where all the village people were buying what they needed for the week.
Markets are held on different days so traders can move from one place to another and each day sell their products in a different place.

The markets in Mallorca: 
 
Monday: Caimari, Calvià, Lloret de Vistalegre, Manacor, Mancor de la Vall, Montuïri. Palma in Plaza Mayor.
 
 
Tuesday: Alcúdia, Porreres, Llubí, s’Alqueria Blanca, el Arenal, Artà, Campanet, Galatzó, Pina, Portocolom, Santa Margarita. Palma in Santa Catalina and Pedro Garau.
 
 
Wednesday: Selva, Andratx, Capdepera, Felanitx, Petra, Port de Pollença, Santanyí, Sencelles, Sineu. Palma in Es Coll d'en Rabassa and Arenal.
 
 
Thursday: Ariany, Campos, el Arenal, Consell, Inca, Pòrtol, Sant Llorenç de Cardassar, Ses Salines, Sant Joan, Lloseta y Deià. Palma in Santa Catalina and Pedro Garau.
 
 
Friday: Alaró, Binissalem, Algaida, Can Picafort, Llucmajor, Maria de la Salut, es Pont d’Inca, Son Carrió, Son Ferrer, Son Servera. Palma in la Vileta and Plaza Mayor.
 
 
Saturday: Búger, Bunyola, Cala Rajada, Campos, Costitx, Esporlas, Santanyí, Sóller, Santa Eugenia y Santa Margarita. Palma in Avenidas.
 
 
Sunday: Alcúdia, Consell, Felanitx, Llucmajor, Muro, Pollença , Porto Cristo, Santa Maria del Camí, Valldemossa and Sa Pobla.
